This was the first NA wine I tried and I have to say, I was disappointed. There was no complexity, no layers of flavor. It was just really flat.
The best way to describe this would be “tart water.”
It tastes great with some cheese and not so great with others.
Price: $11.99
Produced in: Marlborough, New Zealand
Style: Sauvignon Blanc
Tasting Notes: Delicate aromas of fresh lime, redcurrant, lemon shortbread. Citrus flavors followed by blackcurrant & passionfruit notes. Finishes crisp & dry with juicy brightness.
My Notes: Those tasting notes are a lie. I tasted nothing but “tart” and got nothing on the nose.
Ingredients: 80% dealcoholized sauvignon blanc, 14% dealcoholized New Zealand white wine, 6% grape juice, sulfur dioxide.
Overall Drinkability: Not very drinkable, I wouldn’t buy it again.
