Giesen NA Sauvignon Blanc Review

This was the first NA wine I tried and I have to say, I was disappointed. There was no complexity, no layers of flavor. It was just really flat.

The best way to describe this would be β€œtart water.”

It tastes great with some cheese and not so great with others.

Price: $11.99

Produced in: Marlborough, New Zealand

Style: Sauvignon Blanc

Tasting Notes: Delicate aromas of fresh lime, redcurrant, lemon shortbread. Citrus flavors followed by blackcurrant & passionfruit notes. Finishes crisp & dry with juicy brightness.

My Notes: Those tasting notes are a lie. I tasted nothing but β€œtart” and got nothing on the nose.

Ingredients: 80% dealcoholized sauvignon blanc, 14% dealcoholized New Zealand white wine, 6% grape juice, sulfur dioxide.

Overall Drinkability: Not very drinkable, I wouldn’t buy it again.
